Farnham Town immediately applied pressure on Guildford City with three different crosses into the box from wide areas. However, these chances posed no imminent threat; Guildford's keeper, Mac Chisholm, remained composed. Guildford did well to create a few opportunities for themselves early in the match, capitalizing on counter attacking moments. In the 13th minute, Farnham's defense saw a glimpse of danger. A creative back-heel pass from Guildford City’s Kai Beck set Will May up for a shot at goal, but Farnham's keeper comfortably collected the attempt.

As the first half progressed, Farnham saw an increase in opportunities and shots on target from Lewis Flatman and Darryl Sanders. Although they created numerous opportunities, Farnham Town found it challenging to find the back of the net. Farnham supporters were itching to celebrate the opening goal after witnessing their team hit the post twice in the first 35 minutes.

Farnham Town finally broke the deadlock when a ball directed toward Guildford City's back post was not properly cleared out of danger. In the 45th minute, Farnham's Darryl Sanders gave spectators something to talk about after performing a sharp turn and launching a remarkable long-range shot into the top bins. This breathtaking moment concluded the half at 2-0.

The second half continued in a similar fashion, with Farnham Town maintaining their dominance and creating more scoring opportunities. Guildford City managed to muster another good chance, unfortunately, Kai Beck dragged the ball wide of the post after receiving a cross from Will May. Farnham Town oozed with confidence as the game progressed, treating the spectators to an entertaining display of football. In the 65th minute, Darryl Sanders delivered a curling ball into the box from wide. Adam Liddle's header escaped the outstretched arms of the keeper and trickled into the back of the net, increasing Farnham's lead to 3-0.

Guildford City struggled to put a stop to Farnham Town’s dangerous deliveries from wide positions. Adam Liddle continued to exploit this weakness after executing a spectacular side volley from a cross, increasing Farnham's lead to 4-0. Owen Dean sealed the deal by scoring two goals before the final whistle. One resulting from a defensive mistake, and the other a hard-fought header. The final score was 6-0 in favor of Farnham Town, solidifying their position at the top of the Premier Division South.
